Biking Holiday

Our Lungau region has a wealth of cycling routes and mountain bike trails for all abilities and ages and our Biking Holiday package can be tailored to provide for those who like to take things more leisurely as well as those that want to test their stamina cycling at altitude.

Please note this holiday package is not designed for road bikes, it’s a holiday that utilises the designated cycle paths and mountain bike trails in the area.

Our biking holiday is for groups of four people or more, with a designated group leader.

The holiday is perfect for those who want a value for money biking holiday with a choice of other activities, in a beautiful, scenic, traditional area of Austria.

We will organise everything for you, so from the moment you arrive you can relax and enjoy your holiday.

Your holiday price will include the hire of an E-bike and helmet for each day of your holiday, the E-bike is a high spec bike and can be a city, cross or mountain bike style, as you wish; non E-bikes are also available. An E-bike in this area allows cyclists of all levels to cover the area easily.

We will design an itinerary to suit the levels of your group. The bikes are available for to use at any time during your stay, not just on the guided rides.

As well as bike rides each day there will be the opportunity to do other activities, many free with the Lungau card.

Prices and availability - Biking Holiday

Along with the traditional catered Chalet experience we are here to tailor your holiday to your needs, providing as much help and advice as required.

We will answer all the questions you have prior to confirming your booking, so that you can be sure we are the right place for your group’s holiday.

Included in your price is …

  • Group met personally by Alan at Salzburg airport or Salzburg train station.

  • Transport from and to Salzburg airport or Salzburg train station.

  • Transport to and from activities where required.

  • Transport to and from restaurants for evening meals out on two nights.

  • Bike hire for 6 days

  • A week’s itinerary of bike rides and other activities.

  • Maps, activity information and GPS downloads.

  • A ‘free’ day to enjoy your own activity or activities of your choice.

  • Packed lunch where lunch is not available to purchase (a maximum of 2 days).

  • Everything described on our ‘Accommodation’ page and the food and experience as described on our ‘About’ page.

  • Continental breakfast on 7 days.

  • Three course evening meal with complimentary wine and beer on 5 nights.

  • Afternoon cake on 6 days.

  • Complimentary tea, coffee, cordial and fresh fruit available at all times.

  • Lungau Card per person (provides free or discounted entrance to all activities for example the swimming pools, castles & museums, plus free cable car tickets and discounts at some of the bars and restaurants).
